Dear Paha Que:
I thought you might be interested in the attached pictures. Three of our four 12'x10' Cottonwoods lined up and in use at the Outer Banks beaches of Corolla, North Carolina. This was our fourth year using the Cottonwoods. We always receive many great comments from the other beach goers, "umbrella users," and inferior shade canopy owners.
The second picture (from right to left) is of me (Jerry Z), my son (Steve) and my son-in-law (Matt) enjoying a brew under a Cottonwood.
Keep up the good work and thanks for the excellent customer service.

Greetings,
I'd like to report that my Perry Mesa wowed the masses at the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival in Oak Hill, NY last weekend. The tent went up in a hurry, which was great since it was raining with no sign of letting up when we arrived. Once all the creature comforts were in place I very shortly had 5 serious pickers (performers for the fester) in the screened area. They were all thrilled to be able to be under cover with their precious instruments and able to play with room to spare. Then the morning came with clear skies, bright sunlight and rising temperatures. I was able to open up all the windows and raise the flies and get another few hours of sleep in relative comfort. Everyone loved the tent. You should consider sending dealer/reps to larger festivals!!
Before I left for NY I bought a Pamo Valley on ebay. It just arrived and I put it up to check the condition. During set-up I had a section of one of the roof/arch poles split and it arrived with a 'primitive' repair to another section. It looks as if it would be easy to fix. Can you send replacement sections? In fact I'd like to purchase an additional few to have on hand in my camping gear just in case. I can't wait to get back to Grey Fox next year with both tents and spread the gospel.
All the best,
Diana
I do have numerous Paha Que items and I enjoy them and recommend them to all my fellow campers.
Thank you so much for all the info in your newsletters. I have really enjoyed this company and it’s products.

I talked to you back on October 6th of last year and ordered one of your 12 x 12 ScreenRooms covered by the above invoice.
I set it up in early June of this ear to enclose my small 12-foot pool. I just wanted to tell you how well it all worked out. Coming from Wisconsin my favorite form of exercise had always been swimming: but, finding a place to do that in New Mexico was a challenge. Also, at elevations of a mile high and more, keeping out of the sun’s damaging rays was also a problem. And so, I knew when I spotted the ad for your ScreenRoom, my problems were solved!!! It also provided the privacy I desired. I have to admit, by keeping the sun off the water, the temperature was similar tot hat of Lake Michigan, but the plus side was, without the sun beating down on it very few chemicals were necessary to keep the water in excellent condition. I used only about 7 one-inch chlorine tabs for the whole summer. The yellow nylon line is fastened on one end to my 800 lb. Pits & Spits BBQ Grill, the other end has a 30” section of bungee cord fastened to a cotton belt I put on. I can do 20 to 30 minutes of lap swimming, all within the confines of your wonderful ScreenRoom.
I did invest in some 14” tent stakes and even in some extremely high winds and heavy rain, it stayed put! One plastic hook broke in one of these storms but by opening the two sides, the wind just sailed through. I’m extremely impressed with the quality and durability of your product and never hesitate to tell folks about it. The only complaint I would have is in the tightening of the guy line tensioners. Trying to slide these small plastic devices up the line when ones fingers continually lock up due to arthritis was the hardest part of the whole set-up, but with determination, I managed.
Just wanted you all to know how well it all worked out. With all the exercise, both cholesterol and blood pressure are down and I couldn’t have had more fun doing it. Thank you for making it all possible!

We have a Pamo Valley tent and it has stood up to everything - we even had a funnel cloud of a twister go close to out campground this year but I did not touch down - the storm winds were still pretty bad - some other tents and sites got destroyed - but this Pamo Valley tent is really well designed it was still standing right where we left it. A couple tree limbs fell on it (about 2-3 inch diameter) and still it was OK - Other tents got ripped and soaked because of the twisting winds but ours was dry as a bone!
We leave this tent up for a couple months straight and we have all sorts of bird stuff on it, and some mud from the storms and we really want to clean it.
Can we wash it or wipe it down with something that won't ruin it's waterproofing?
Thanks

Just wanted to let you know that the screen room was used all of last week at Cape Hatteras National Seashore in North Carolina and worked beautifully (no trees or large objects to break the constant Atlantic winds). Although we were not allowed to set up until after TS Ernesto moved out; we did sustain 35 mph winds and some heavy thunderstorms during our stay. Not a problem; we stayed dry and secure.
Your product has been one of the best camping equipment investments that we have ever made. Thank you for a great product and design!
If you are ever looking for a satisfied consumer; just give me a call.

We returned yesterday from a trip to the Minnesota north shore and used the screen tent for the first time. We wanted to tell you we are absolutely delighted with it. It serves many purposes, and met them all . We had a previous Eureka screen tent, which had nice aspects but yours is a huge improvement. We don't so much need the screening as the protection, and we bought yours because of the drop down flaps. The North Shore of Lake Superior has an interesting aspect. No matter if there is a drought, no matter what the weather, there will be rain on the North Shore, and it will usually be cold and windy when it comes. Another day it will be hot. Your screen tent let us have a shelter on the wet day, with some flaps up and some down depending on the strength of the wind and rain, and our need for protection.
Previously, we had to go out and clip assorted tarps to the poles of the Eureka, a pain. We loved easily rolling the flaps up when it got nice - it was quick and easy. It was a cozy room when it got dark; if the rain had been sufficient we could have placed the awning over our tent opening and had convenient access into the screen tent. All in all we gave it an A plus. My husband was delighted with the height of it. He did not like the Eureka, feeling it was too low, too close, too claustrophobic. We liked the shape of this one too. We liked all the places to tie it down and stake it also. All in all, PahaQue always has well thought out products, with so many of the additions and aspects that we would wish to have in a shelter.
thanks tons! We had by far the best screen tent on the north shore, and we saw lots of them, as anyone who goes up there the second time comes with one, due to the ever present rain on the lake. We saw another PahaQue also.

I just got back from the first real camping trip with my new 12' x 12' screenroom plus rainfly and it paid for itself in this trip. We had 2 thunderstorms (one was severe) after we arrived before we even had time to set up the screenroom. We had at least one rain shower everyday. We had the picnic table, another table, a huge cooler and 2 smaller coolers plus containers holding the food and everything stayed dry. We had a group of us and everyone commented on how nice it was to eat while staying dry and being able to keep the food dry. Thanks for a great product.

I Just got back from a camping trip to montauk NY on the ocean. it was the first time I used the 10x12 screen house, because of darkness I wasn't able to properly stake down and play out all lines. In the middle of the night a storm comes through 50 knot winds heavy driving rain (REAL BAD) The next morning the campground looked like a war zone-my PaHa Que' just where I left it and dry, and I don't even have the rain fly
Thanks

I really love the Pamo Valley tent! My wife and I and doggy tried out the new tent over the Memorial Day weekend. We went to a favorite spot near Buena Vista CO, near the Buffalo Peaks Wilderness Area. We were camped at about 9800 ft. in an open park that did not provide much wind protection. We arrived at dusk (no wind at the time of tent setup). I had purchased additional stakes from Ace Hardware (the 12" landscape nails). Tent setup went smooth and I double staked all corners of both the tent and the fly (bomber). The wind started about 2 hours into the evening and was relentless for the entire 3 day weekend. I have elk hunted in this area for 20 years and never remember consistent wind like we encountered. I had no quantitative way of measuring the avg. wind speed and gusts but I would estimate consistent 20-25 MPH winds with occasional 40+ mph gusts. I was able to pull my truck upwind from the tent as a bit of a block, but the tent still took some big wind hits. I was truly amazed that the tent endured the weekend. The stakes held true and the tent did not move from the original positioning. The construction of the reinforced stake corners of the tent is excellent. We cooked in the tent as there was no keeping a stove lighted outside. I experimented with trying to reduce the wind effects on the tent by allowing air flow through the mosquito netting and also by keeping the tent completely closed. There seemed to be little difference in tent movement either way. Sunday evening temps dropped into the high 20's. The open design of the top of the tent certainly kept the tent well ventilated.
Bottom line, I was impressed with the well thought out design, quality construction, and room for two people plus dog plus 2 chairs and cooking/eating table. Nice job!
Thanks for making a really strong big tent.

We just returned from Moab and saw some spectacular sites, I also fell in love with my Uncle's Pamo Valley tent because I am 6'6" and he's only a tiny 6'4". Well, to make a long story short, he gave me his tent for my birthday and bought a new one for himself from you. We just set it up at our house and it is amazing! He only knew about half of the features that it's got.
I have a small backpacking tent that I love made by Mountain Hardware, and your tent has all of the same features--in a family size tent!
Thank you for making such a great tent and for your phenominal service to my Uncle, he can't say enough about Jeff and his company, and that's a compliment for anyone. And now that I am the proud owner of his old tent, I appreciate it too!
The photos are from and around Moab, including a picture from Poison Spider and Elephant Hill, and Newspaper Rock.
Thanks again, we'll send some more pictures with our great tent!

We purchased our little guy deluxe in January,2006 and as of the 1st of April we have camped five weeks. We are having a great time.
We live in Florida and have been camping at state park campgrounds. The parks are always nice our little guy is always a point of interest to the other campers. We are always being asked to show off our little guy which we are always happy to do.
We have been asked about it at red lights, drive-thrus, parking lots and once was even flagged down on the road and when we pulled over thinking something was wrong, he only wanted info on the little guy. The screenroom/tent is also a big hit at the campgrounds.
I'm attaching pictures of our truck and little guy and of our little guy set up with the screenroom/tent. We would like to know if the blue and yellow scrabble decals are available to be purchased, we think our truck and little guy would really look good with matching decals. Please let us know. Also, since we are so often asked for information and we refer them to your web site, if you would be like to send us some brochures we would be happy to pass them out.

We were setting up our camp site in the Florida Keys where the no seeums were driving us crazy. A conrner pole of our PahaQue screen room broke.
What a bummer!. I called my son who found the PahaQue 800 number for me on his computer. I called PahaQue, explained my dilemma and was pleased to learn that they would send me a new stronger set of poles by UPS. Within three days, the package arrived and the screen room was a welcome addition to our camp site.
Great product, great service above the call of duty. A pleasure to recommend their products.

To the Paha Que gang:
I'd like to thank Mike Greaves for his speedy and exceptional customer service, regarding a set of replacement poles I ordered. I purchased a Pamo Valley in 2002 and have extensively used it for a variety of events. I do a lot of backpacking, so I watch the weight, but it’s no holds barred when comes to family camping. I like to go large and the Pamo Valley was the logical choice. I went camping a couple of years back and my campmates picked a site that had drainage issues, it rained all night and the other tents started to leak. Everyone piled into my Pamo Valley thanks to the high bathtub floor, and I didn’t get the chance to seam seal it yet. The tent held very well in driving winds. Thanks for offering a solid American made product.

We love our screen room and plan to purchase the larger one in the near future. We added the rain-fly this year and find it now holds up very well to even the drenching rains we encounter when camping along the Klamath River in October.

Worth every penny! My wife is allergic to insect bites and she fell in love with the screen room from the first time we sat it up!
Speaking of set-up, VERY EASY set-up and excellant quality. We had several inquiries about our screen room in the camp ground on our first use. We gave it a very high score.

I have the 12X12 screen house that you saw at the Cub Twilight Camp and at Normandy. It is an absolutely bullet-proof piece of equipment and I highly recommend it. I also got the rainfly and a floor and I would make sure you get the rainfly at a minimum for camping over here. Mine has been totally dry in even the heaviest frog-chokers that I've seen here and it is big enough to house our kitchen equipment we used for summer camp at Kandersteg in Switzerland. Another benefit is that you can fit the floor and the rainfly in the same bag as the screenhouse so you are only carrying one bag.
I know you are familiar with the Cottonwood shelters the troop has and I also have one of these. They are great for light rain and sunshade, I'd recommend the 12X12 if you are looking for one of those also. Finally, I have a Teepee for use as a portable toilet house. I bought it for Normandy but never needed it due to the closeness of the bathrooms. The gear is some of the best I've used and it has my highest recommendation.
I'd recommend you research the website. They have some excellent videos to show you how everything sets up. I can concur that it is that easy and quick. Make contact with Mike when you are ready to order. He's a great guy and I'm sure he can help you with any of the products.
Take care and good luck. I'll see you next week.

I purchased your 10x10 Paha Que screenhouse through Campmor at the end of the season last year but did not have a chance to use until this year--it's totally AWESOME!! Now I just have to fgure out if there is a way for one person to put it up alone. Is this possible? Is there a way? I would so much appreciate your advice.
Everyone who passed by in the campground came up and asked me about my good lookin' Paha Que --so you guys got a lot of positive free advertising from me! Also had a chance to find out how nicely it withstands nasty weather as there was a deluge just after I got it up! The rainfly was a blessing. I was delighted to have f-i-n-a-l-l-y found a really good quality dining canopy! BRAVO!

We purchased your Promontory and the TePee. We couldn’t be more pleased with the products. My wife and I camp at least 6-7 times a year here in the Indiana State Parks. I have recommended your products to my co-workers and showed them your catalogue. Your products make the camping experience comfortable and enjoyable. The first time we used them we had thunderstorms and winds for 2 days. They held up with unbelievable performance and kept dry while other campers got soaked. We had a couple of the wet campers ask about your products and since we carry your catalogue, showed them your product line. We will probably purchase a few more of your accessories in the future.

Hello from William Heise Park, near Julian CA.
We just wanted to tell you how happy we are with our Temescal Creek. It has worked well for use for two years now, but this time this tent held up against some some of the strongest winds I've ever seen blowing through these mountains. Our stuff stayed safe and we had the time of our lives! It's startin' to be warm weather time, so we'll be getting one of your Cottonwoods.

Best Regards,
Audrey
Just wanted to drop you a note - for YEARS I've read the most amazing customer and media reviews of your products, and I promised myself that the next time I bought equipment I'd look to Paha Que. Well, I just finished ordering your 12x12 screenroom and my sons and I can't WAIT for the warm weather season to begin!
Stick around and keep adding products, guys!
Be seeing you,

You probably don’t remember me, but I had lost your e-mail address and just found it today so I am now thanking you for the personal attention. The screen house worked great on our trip to Niagra Falls, Western New York and Northern Pennsylvania. We got lots of rain on the way home and stayed dry and comfortable. Geez, did we get rain. Anyway, thanks for a great product.

My family and I recently returned from a camping vacation. Many years ago we purchased a screen house that had attached awnings (a very hard find). Throughout the years I tried to find a manufacturer of a screen house that had attached awnings. If it existed I never found it. After many years of camping vacations in the Thousand Islands with extremely windy and rainy conditions the old screen house was history. My niece was also looking for a screen house and purchased yours last year. This year we borrowed my niece’s screen house. I have to tell you I was absolutely delighted with it! Lightweight, and so easy to set up. It took less than half the time to set up your screen house then the one that we had for ten years. I do plan on purchasing one for my family before our next camping trip. You must be having a lot of success with your screen house ... I’m so glad someone got smart and made a screen house with awnings.
Thanks! J. Harp
Mike,
Just wanted to thank you for the outstanding response and resolution in regards to our screen house. The pole arrived in Maine as you promised on Saturday. I must say, after camping for more than 30 years and using many brands of gear, yours is without a doubt of the finest quality an durability. When it comes time or a new tent, in the near future you can be assured it will be Paha Que'. Thought you would like to know The Screen Room is the first structure to be erected on our lot in Maine. There's only one problem, I erected it for my wife to sit in out of the killer bugs while I cleared trees for our house, I enjoyed it so much I accomplished next to nothing. I attached a picture.
Again, thanks for a great product and outstanding service.

I was very impressed with the ease of setup of your shade shelter. It really did take only 5 minutes. And the material seems very durable. We havn't used it yet, we just set it up for practice. I am so looking forward to many years with your product. It's about time someone invented a canopy where all the poles just click together like tents do.
Thank You!

Dear 3 guys;
Through 60 mile an hour winds (Smilefest 2003) with two people holding onto those steadfast poles, the never ending storms of the Pisgah Forest, and the annual honey sale (held in our front yard rain or shine) our Cottonwood has proven its self indispensable numerous times. Just one request guys, “could ya make it just a little bigger” with all the activities we need the room.
David, Lisa, and Mackenzie
Hello Jeffrey,
Thank you so much for the super quick response. We are counting on the screen house for a kayaking trip. If I had known it was going to come so quickly, I would have ordered more pieces. We just love our first ScreenRoom. The sides panels makes it fantastic in windy, rainy conditions. My family really appreciated that kayaking at Harriman Fjord and then in Tutka Bay. The Tepee is still going strong. We use it as a shower tent and it is great. Thank you for your wonderful products and the useful designs. They make our trips more comfortable and my family very happy to be out of the bugs and/or rain.
Thanks Again,

My Dad finally came back from Florida with the tent that we had bought back in February. Consequently, I was only able to fill out the warranty card today....I also just noticed that I could have done it on-line. We set it up in the backyard yesterday to seal the seams. Geez it's built like a tank! I don't think I've ever seen a tent this well made...no wonder you offer a lifetime warranty. We can't wait for our first camping trip!!
Once again, many thanks for all of your assistance in helping us purchase one of the best made tents on the market!
Kind regards,

Dear Paha Que',
Your customer service has been wonderful and your product is awesome. My family and another went camping this last week on the coast of Sicily overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and your tent was a great hit by my family. My wife was amazed at the room that we had and truly the tent helped to make our trip a great success. Thank you and I will be ordering a tepee from you because the sites over here a very primitive. Thank you again.
Yours Respectfully
L. Lader
I have used many different tents over the years and your designs are by far the most advanced. The selection of materials, the way they pitch and stand, and the features of the designs all work together in a way that I've not found in any other manufacturer's products. Please keep up the research and product improvement and don't take any shortcuts on your product designs in the future. I especially appreciate the way your product line models complement each other in a way that allows for the assembly of a complete campsite shelter system. Paha Que' is a true spirited leader in the field!

Dear Paha Que',
Thanks for showing exceptional customer service! As I'm sure you will remember, I lost the mesh bag to my Tepee Outhouse. Upon calling you, one was sent out immediately at no charge. I am a banker and know how important customer service is. I look for it wherever I shop but am hard pressed to find people who will go the extra mile. You and your company are undoubtedly of that uncomon type. You have a customer in me for life! Thanks again for your help.

Hi Guys,
Wow--excellent product and excellent service--a very winning combination! Thanks!
Our ScreenRoom makes for a very pleasent summer bedroom out in the woods by our brook. We built a tent platform there years ago before our kids were born and slept there every summer night for several years. After our kids came along we came inside for a good 11 years. Now we're back outside, thanks in part, to the ScreenRoom!

To whom it may concern:
Yesterday I returned home from a trip to the south shore of Lake Superior over the Memorial day weekend and just had to write you a quick note thanking you for making the excellent screen house. As a backpacker with kids, I now find myself oftentimes car camping in places and times of the year that are a little chilly and I have been looking for a solution to how you cook and eat without getting cold children. The Screen House proved to be just the ticket While the wind blew the sides went down and we stayed warm while cooking, coloring, eating, coloring. When the sun came out the sides went up and the bugs were kept at bay while we cooked etc... When I received the screen house which I had ordered from REI, I couldn't believe the amount of stakes and guy lines that came with it. While we were camping at Lake Superior we experienced 30 mph wind gusts and I used all those stakes and guy lines to keep the house solid...Thanks again for the excellent product.

My name is R. R. Shumway,
I own and run a pro cat-fishing guide service called Catdaddy Guide and Tour, a catfishin adventure. Well, heres my story, I entered a pro-catfish tournament in Havana, Il. on May 11th, 2002. Soon as we arrived we setup camp and started to do some pre-fishing. It rained most of the day and night. I was looking forward to some dry clothes and a good nights sleep, by the way we were in my Pamo Valley tent and what a tent it is. When they say at Paha Que' “quality is far more than an idle boast“, there not kidden around one bit. About 1:00 in the morning the wind was just a blowin, all of a sudden I heard someone hollar 'you guys in the tent get out of there and go for cover, there's a tornado on the other side of the river headin right for the camping area. You guys jump in and I will take you to the IGA store, you will be safe there'. About mid-morning we went back to camp, what was left of it, our tent was nowhere to be found. We went driving around and about two blocks away up in a tree I found my tent, the poles were bent real bad, what was left of them, but, to my surprise, when we got the tent down out of the tree, there was not one hole or rip in it. I told my buddy, 'now that's a tornado tough tent'.
Sincerely,
(CATDADDY) R.R.Shumway
Dear friends at Paha Que',
I just wanted to write to tell you about my experience in our Pamo Valley Tent we got last year. My family lives outside Boulder, Colorado and we camp regularly throughout the State. If you know summer Colorado weather, especially at altitude, you can get a variety of weather on any given day. Our family set up camp at one of our close to home favorite family campgrounds at the East side of Rocky Mountain National Park. The Pamo Valley was packaged in a great carry pack and easy to set up. In minutes, we had our spaceous living quarters arranged but quickly the weathered turned from bright sun to afternoon clouds and hard rain showers. NO PROBLEM! My wife, our 2 yr old daugther, our 80 lb yellow lab and I got into the tent and button her down with plenty of room inside for cards, reading & relaxing. We stayed dry and secure until our weather improved. We especially like all the nice features like the air mattress slip covers, the gear attic/hammocks to store items and the large venilation flaps. I like that it is stable in high winds, the seams are reinforced and sealed and the floor material is durable enough for lots of traffic. Thank you for a great quality product, we enjoy it very much.
Sincerely,
The Ridings Family

Dear Paha Que',
I can't wait to use the tent with the screen house. My husband and I really love your screen house. We have used the Tepee every time we go camping. My husband said that it is a very well constructed product. He was amazed at how easy it was to assemble and use. I especially like the zippers to access your clothes, towels, etc.
Keep up the good work. Any new items on the making?

Dear Paha Que',
I just wanted to touch base with you and to let you know that your blind performed extremely well this season. I managed to take the biggest Whitetail from all of our pro staff using your blind! The story is in the archive page of our website. It scored just short of making Pope and Young.
Thanks for a wonderful product!

Just wanted to thank you for replacing the long tent pole on our Paha' Que' Tepee. I have attached a picture of our Tepee with the 4 of us in it. This picture was taken during September 1999 at Kolob reservoir in Southern Utah. This was our first trip with the Tepee. We have been camping together for many years and taking daily showers. We are all Happy Campers now that we have one of your Tepees.
Thanks again for the great customer service.

I have had a 'Tepee' for two years. I can really tell that you did your homework when designing it. It gets setup about 30 times each year and still looks and perfoms just like it did the day I bought it. I recommend it to everyone that stops by to look at it. Great job.

Sirs:
We've had our tepee for a year now and it's great....it is so compatible with our tent trailer. What a great pair they make! No longer do we have to wait until dark to shower! Your design with the hanging bars, net pockets, removable floor, etc. is great!

Back from our first camping trip in our Pamo Valley tent. Great experience, it was fun watching others struggle putting up their tents for 30+ mins. while we put ours up in about 15! And we did it with 2 children. Nice comfortable air mattresses! The tent itself was a pleasure to sleep in, being in South Florida all the window area made for a nice breeze throughout the tent during the night. Very satisfied!!

Hi Gang, just returned from a 3 week trip with the wife and kids…….As for the Pamo Valley tent; it performed perfectly. We were greeted with rain the 1st evening of every stop. But we persevered with the help from your snug fabulous tent. Thanks for helping make our family Adventure Special!

Dear ‘Three Guys’,
Love that Tepee!!! ……we had it out at a nearby lake. A front came through while we were there and we had some very high winds. The TePee took it all with no problem……..there aren’t many trees or anything else from which to hang the shower-bags that we used when we lived in the Texas hill country. We have make our own rigs to try to handle these problems but nothing like the Tepee!!!!
Thank you. Thank you for providing such a terrific product.

Field work is dirty work. And nothing could be dirtier than field work in the Atacama desert of Chile. For over a year now, my crews and I have been using the Paha Que'’ Wilderness Tepee to get ourselves clean. The privacy of the Tepee is unparalleled, it is simple to clean, and just two 2.5 gallon shower bags are all you need for a comfortable, wind-free showering experience. Moreover, the tent is rugged and easy to set up. If you’re traveling with a large group and you want to stay clean with minimal inconvenience, the Paha Que'’ Tepee is the way to go.

It was our first trip……when we set up the tepee for the first time, we were pleased by a number of things we didn’t expect (above and beyond all that). When we used it, every feature worked even better than we anticipated. The slots to get our clothes and towels in and out were wonderful. The protection from the damp winds during a shower was wonderful beyond words. Your shower/outhouse is now a permanent part of our camping kit.

I’m really impressed with the Pamo Valley tent, in terms of quality and durability. It took a beating from heavy winds and rains during a week camping at the Olympic National Park’s coastal strip and never sagged nor leaked.

The Paha Que' 'Shower huts' and 'bathroom huts' are a hit with our clients. They are truly amazed at how comfortable our wilderness river trips are, due in part to that hot shower at the end of a day of rafting.

My family used the Pamo Valley this past weekend up on Trinity Lake. Wow, after spending hundreds of nights as a Boy Scout in a canvas open floor tent that I hit my head on with each movement, the Paha Que' tent is a Cadillac! ……but I was even more impressed with the rain fly and general 'function' of the tent. Absolutely impressed with the overall quality everywhere. I really like those side mesh pockets and the outside access to them.

We just had to write to tell you how much we LOVE our Temescal Creek tent! I have family camped for about 25 years now, and have previously been a loyal eureka fan….as we went back to surfing for tents online…your tent was the obvious stand out! It took less than ten minutes to set up and we smiled the whole time at the well thought out construction, set up ease and the WONDERFUL mesh EVERYWHERE!!! We will never buy another brand…..WE LOVE OUR NEW TENT AND WANTED YOU TO KNOW!!! Thanks for all the effort.
The Urbanek Family
So far, we have only used the Tepee for showers. The shower cradle is great for holding shower supplies, as is the included pouch. The flooring is astoundingly durable. Set up is simple….many are impressed by how spacious it is. We are very pleased.

Dear Paha Que',
We must commend you on the quality and integrity of your product overall. As you know the Pacific North West weather (in general) is wet to say the least. We were able to test our tent’s maiden voyage under coastal conditions. We would like to inform you that the tent performed to all our expectations and beyond. First of all we found the set up easy and expedient. We especially enjoyed the exterior zipper pocket feature, used freQue'ntly due to our normal absent mind ness. Unfortunately we were not able to utilize the 'skylight' feature due to the low lying clouds and fog. Our contents however stayed dry and we experienced many a drip free night. Thanks again for a great product!

Hello Paha Que' Crew,
We had a great time camping in Oregon with the Pamo Valley and Tepee tents. We had a light rain so the rain fly and awning were welcomed. The Tepee as usual brings other campers who are curious about it. We have a portapotty we store in there along with the shower. Other family members enjoyed it for the first time. They camp in remote spots that have no water and showers are a premium. Once again Paha Que' has all the right stuff for us.

Hi,
This weekend I attended the Winterhawk 2000 Bluegrass Festival. It was the first time that I used the Paha Que' Tepee. It exceeded my expectations, it was great. It also was a great attraction in the camping area, throughout the weekend several fellow campers stopped by to check it out, having never seeing it before they were amazed with it's design and impressed with it's portability. They all had the same question - How do I get one?
Thanks,
Joe Donahue
To fellow campers;
My name is Dave Fox and I an the owner of Fox Trailer Sales in Sacramento, California. We retail folding trailers and have been doing this since 1976. We are constantly searching for after-market products to enhance our customers camping experience. We have found a great one: The Tepee by Paha Que' Wilderness. Over the years we have tried different products for outside showers and potti houses, but they were either too bulky or too difficult to set up and always needed to be supported or anchored to the trailer. We have also seen custom made concoctions of all sorts that supposedly 'do the job' but we were searching for something better. That search ended when I stumbled upon the Tepee at a friend’s dealership in Pocatello, Idaho. I contacted the friendly people at Paha Que' and the rest ( as they say ) is history. We have one on display at our lot and will always display them at our shows. The last show we were in we had so many inquiries that we were caught short of brochures. We sold them to people with motor homes, trailers, and tent trailers. We even sold one to a person who said she would use it as a changing room near her pool. I have one who has purchased 5 of them ( didn't ask why )! My only regret is that I didn't find this product sooner. The service and response from the people at Paha Que' Wilderness has been great. I highly recommend this product to all R.V. dealers because it is attractive, highly functional, and easy to set up. It also folds up neatly and takes up very little storage space.
Sincerely,
Dave Fox,

Hello Paha Que',
I had the Tepee in use on our trip into the Brooks Range in Alaska on the Kobuk River. I waited for about 7 days or so into our trip before I broke out the Tepee, I had not told the guest that we would have a enclosed shower to use, so it made a great hit at that time. Some of the guides thought it was a bit much as they watched me try to assembly it for the first time in the wind (I had not had time to take your advice and practice once at home). Any way, it only took a few minutes to get the hang of it, your instructions sewn into the pole bag are great; in the wind I would have lost a sheet of paper for sure. We just boiled some water and put it into a shower bag and placed it onto the top shelf of the Tepee and proceeded to enjoy a real shower with out bugs, sheltered from the wind and quite a bit warmer. Once the four guy lines and side stakes were put in place, the Tepee stood up very well to the winds. Look forward to working with you and your products in the future.
Thank You,

Dear Paha Que' Wilderness Inc,
About two years ago, a member of our sales staff brought to my attention an interesting product that he had seen and challenged me to try. That product was the Tepee Shower and Outhouse by Paha Que' Wilderness Inc. We displayed the Tepee in our show room and without any other advertising we began to sell then immediately. Since then it has been a fabulous addition to our parts department, overwhelmingly exceeding our expectations. The lightweight and portable shower and outhouse speaks for itself to any outdoor enthusiast who also requires the privacy and convenience of home. This product is a 'must have' for any parts and accessories department. Your customers will love it!
Sincerely,

Dear Friends at Paha Que' Wilderness:
I just recently purchased one of your Black Mountain Tents to use when its just my son and I going camping together. We both love the great design, especially the large front door and mesh roof. The smaller rear door is great when the rainfly is on, and that huge vestibule gives us plenty of room to keep our gear and equipment dry on wet days. Thanks for the great product, we are now loyal Paha Que' customers!
Sincerely,Bob and Tony Clark,

To Whom It May Concern:
The design, materials and workmanship found in Paha Que's Dining and Shower tents made our ground operation I feel one of the finest in the Adventure Travel Industry. The quality and value of these products is un-matched in the large tent market. From the Himalayas to the Andes having Paha Que' on board took our camps to the next level. Thanks Paha Que', I look forward to continuing our working relationship in the coming years.

To Whom It May Concern:
My husband and I purchased your Temescal Creek tent in April, 2001. Over our first weekend we thoroughly enjoyed the use of it. However, the second time we used it, we had 80 mile per hour winds and 4 inches of heavy snow. The arch pole bent and then borke with the continual wind.
I would like to commend your customer service personel. I e-mailed your company the next day and received a replacement pole before the next weekend. The only concern your customer service personnel had was whether we stayed dry! (We did.)
I will certainly spread word of your excellent company and product.
Sincerely,
Joanna Trescott,
Denver, CO.
